North UK Mills Group June Meeting

Online • Thu, Jun 11 • 9:00 AM

Who should attend?

These free, online meetings are for anyone with an interest in mill heritage, owners or operators of commercial or converted historic mill buildings, and those with a full-time role in developing or running mills.

What to expect?

Join us online in June for a talk by Graham Brooks, Chair of Warwick Bridge Community Benefit Society in Carlisle, as he asks the question ‘Can a watermill be operated profitably?’.
Graham will present an outline of the history of Warwick Bridge Corn Mill, including its renovation in 2019 and the setting up of the Community Benefit Society, before diving into the challenges it has faced over the last 6 years and reflecting on how the mill will be moving forward in 2026 and beyond.
