Who is Make Your Mark?
Make Your Mark is a fantastic campaign supporting everyone in Scotland in volunteering with history, culture and nature organisations.
Heritage, community and place are the three core values of Make Your Mark. They are doing important work engaging local people in their surroundings - from buildings, landscapes to wildlife, connecting people with each other and their shared environments.
An exciting new opportunity
They are currently seeking a new Campaign Coordinator to lead development, delivery and promotion of inclusive volunteering initiatives across Scotland's heritage sector.
Hosted by the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland (external link) (opens in new tab) and supported by the Make Your Mark Working Group (external link) (opens in new tab), this role will provide project management and delivery of campaign events, training, communications, audience development, partner engagement and evaluation. The Campaign Coordinator will liaise with and support the Make Your Mark Working Group, the wider Make Your Mark membership, (external link) (opens in new tab) community groups and external partners to ensure the implementation of inclusive volunteer programmes.
- Salary: £35,400 per annum
- Hours: 37 hours (five days) per week with flexible daytime working hours Monday to Friday, occasional evening and weekend work required with time off in lieu (TOIL) provided
- Location: Hybrid at-home and in-person working based at the Society’s office at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh, with some time in partner organisation offices, particularly Volunteer Scotland in Stirling. However, as there are several flights of stairs up to the Society offices, we are happy to explore different ways of working.
