Architect-led Design Team and a Quantity Surveyor

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) of St Mary's Church, Wirksworth, a Grade I listed major parish church in Derbyshire, is seeking to appoint an Architect-led Design Team and a Quantity Surveyor for its Faith, Folk, Foundations project, supported by a National Lottery Heritage Fund Development Phase grant.

The project covers repairs to the transept roofs, repointing and stone consolidation, churchyard path repairs, and improvements to heating, lighting and renewable energy generation, alongside a programme of public engagement and interpretation.

The PCC is seeking an appropriately qualified multidisciplinary Design Team, led by a Conservation Accredited Architect, to take the project through to RIBA Stage 4 and contractor tender, and a Quantity Surveyor to provide independent cost management throughout. Both appointments carry the prospect of continuing into the Delivery Phase.
