North WarwickshireVolunteerApplication deadline: 01/01/2027, 23:59
Our trustees play a vital role in making sure that Middleton Hall Trust achieves its core purpose – ‘To restore, protect and bring Middleton alive so that every visitor leaves with a deep love of its story’.
Our Board oversees the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure that Middleton Hall Trust has a clear strategy and that its work and goals are in line with its vision. Just as importantly, the Board support the staff and volunteers to enable Middleton Hall to grow and thrive.
We are looking for a Chair who can provide leadership to the Board, ensuring that it fulfils its responsibilities for governance and oversight; someone who can lead in an inclusive way, supporting the board to work together well, and providing support and challenge to the General Manager. The Chair is also an ambassador for the charity.
As Chair of the Board of Trustees you would be leading a Board of dedicated individuals who bring their varied skills and experience together to ensure the effective administration of the Trust. Our Trustees develop and implement Middleton Hall’s operations, governance, finances and bid applications in partnership with its small number of staff and a large group of passionate volunteers.
