Communications/Media Support - Communications Consultant

The AHF is seeking to commission consultancy support to work with them over the term of the programme, which runs from April 2026-March 2029, with the possibility of extension for one further year to March 2030 if funding is available. The support they are looking for is Communications/Media support to achieve
the following aims:
• Ensure widespread awareness of funding availability, in particular among groups working with historic buildings in targeted communities;
• Promote the potential of historic building reuse to support societal goals including increase in civic pride, high street renewal, reduction in carbon expenditure, and others;
• Broaden awareness of the growing role of the AHF in supporting the heritage,
regeneration, and community sectors across England, helping to improve the case for further investment in our work; and
• Support acknowledgement of UK Government funding for programme.

The budget is approximately £150,000 to include VAT and expenses, from appointment to the end of March 2029, with the potential to renew the contract for one further year at £50,000. It is expected you will provide your own equipment.

Completed tenders to be returned to the AHF by 5pm on 10 August 2026;
• Interviews (by Zoom) week commencing 24 August 2026;
• Confirmation of award of contract by 31 August 2026
