Coram is commissioning an experienced Evaluation Consultant for their NLHF funded programme 'Speaking for Ourselves', to review and, where necessary, update the existing Evaluation Framework, a comprehensive plan for assessing the programme’s impact. The consultant will support key staff throughout the evaluation process and produce yearly interim evaluation reports and a final evaluation report aligned with current NLHF guidance.
The successful supplier will be responsible for providing this requirement, liaising closely with Coram’s Impact & Evaluation team, the project Programme Manager and the Head of Philanthropy.
The contract will commence in Autumn 2026 and last until the end of the delivery phase in November 2029, with the work split over this period.
Requirements
Coram is looking for a consultant with experience of:
- using a theory of change or performance story to identify what new data and evidence is needed
- developing evaluation and monitoring methodologies in response to these needs
- supporting the implementation of these methodologies
- analysing quantitative and qualitative data in order to draw meaningful conclusions
- preparing reports and that explain the impact of the service and revise the theory of change if necessary
- evaluating NLHF funded projects and activities
The consultant should have particular skills in:
- working with teams
- working with volunteers
- organising and running meetings
- report writing, presentation writing and presentation delivery.
You should also demonstrate a commitment to inclusive working with young people from a range of backgrounds, including those with experience of living in or on the margins of the care system.
