Evaluation Consultants

The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) is seeking to commission evaluation consultants to work with them to develop and implement an evaluation framework for the Heritage Revival Fund, a three- to four-year £45 million grants programme focused on historic buildings in town centres in England, funded by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

The Heritage Revival Fund grants programme runs from April 2026-March 2029, with the possibility of extension for one further year to March 2030 if funding is available. The evaluation contract will extend for 18 months beyond the lifespan of the programme to allow time for projects to complete and report on their grant funded work, i.e. until September 2030, or September 2031 if further funding is confirmed.

The consultants will design and deliver a Monitoring and Evaluation Plan that responds to the objectives of the programme and aligns with the AHF’s broader evaluation strategy.
