Outreach Officer

St John's Church is looking for an Outreach Officer to support the delivery of the Restore the Binns project throughout its duration, working alongside the Project Coordinator.
The role will lead on the community engagement elements of the project’s Activity
Plan. The postholder will carry out the detailed planning and delivery of activities and engagement events, ensuring that all activities are effectively marketed and
promoted to target audiences and engagement targets and outcomes achieved.

An important aspect of the role is to train and mentor the St John’s Operations and Audience Development Officer and volunteers, ensuring they develop knowledge and skills in audience development, engagement activities and events, and marketing and communications so that the project grows the capacity and resilience of St John’s and secures a sustainable project legacy.
