Heritage Network has a team of paid staff who manage and deliver its work across the UK. Governance, oversight and strategic direction is provide by our Board of Trustees. Our Board members (who are not paid) all work in the heritage sector and have a passion for, and extensive knowledge of, community-led heritage regeneration.
Izabella Maar

Izabella is the Development and Outreach Officer for Wales, leading the Network's activity in Wales and overseeing our programmes of support for members and community organisations across the country. Izabella provides 1:1 support to our members, manages our Wales events programme, and represents Heritage Network in sector forums like the Wales Heritage Group.
Izabella is also the Network's Conference Organiser, managing the planning and running of our annual conference.
She joined the Network in 2023 as a Heritage Trainee and has a Masters in Cultural Heritage Management with Tourism.
Izabeella is based in Wales but works UK wide for her conference role.
Her normal working days are Monday - Friday.
