Cotesbach Educational Trust (external link) (opens in new tab) is seeking to appoint an experienced evaluation consultant with strengths in strategy and organisational development. This commission will support the Trust’s work within the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) – Building Resilience framework.
The Trust wishes to strengthen its long-term resilience by embedding reflective
evaluation, strategic planning, and organisational development into its practice. The consultant will work collaboratively with staff and trustees to generate meaningful insight, evidence impact, and translate learning into clear, practical actions.
The purpose of this role is to:
- Design and deliver an evaluation approach aligned with National Lottery
Heritage Fund Building Resilience guidance - Support organisational learning and decision-making
- Inform and provide guidance and a clear framework for strategic planning,
governance, and future development (2026–2036) - Build internal capacity for strategic development and delivery of the next
organisational strategy (2026–2036)
The consultant will act as a critical friend, combining robust evaluation with

The budget for this project is in the region of £15,000 - £18,000. The Trust invites a cost breakdown and fee structure against this budget.
